This guide is designed to help you understand the scope of services we offer and the areas we do not cover. Our aim is to provide high-quality, reliable care within our expertise, ensuring your comfort and safety at all times. Below, you’ll find a detailed list of tasks we are happy to assist with, along with those that fall outside of our service offerings.
Our service is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors by providing meaningful companionship, light household support, and assistance with everyday activities. We focus on building genuine connections and helping clients feel engaged and valued. Whether it’s sharing in conversation, accompanying clients on outings, preparing simple meals, or offering a friendly presence, we’re here to bring comfort, joy, and connection to daily life. With our non-medical, friendly approach, we’re committed to making each day brighter and more fulfilling.
Companionship & Social Support:
Engaging in conversation and social activities.
Accompanying clients to coffee shops, shopping centre, markets, restaurants, parks, movies, and social outings etc
Playing board games or reading together.
Light organisation of spaces (tidying up common areas).
Assist with correspondence or phone calls if requested.
Provide guidance on computer and smartphone use, social media access, and account setup to build essential digital skills.
Lifestyle Support & Home Assistance:
Light meal preparation, using client's ingredients, including simple meals like sandwiches, soups, and salads, as well as snacks, light breakfasts or lunches, tea, coffee, and cold drinks.
Washing, drying, ironing, hanging clothes (no soiled garments).
Light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, wiping down surfaces).
Emptying household bins and taking out rubbish.
Watering plants.
Grocery shopping with or without the client (all expenses borne by the client).
Errands & Appointments:
Driving clients to and from appointments, shopping trips, or social outings (using the client’s car).
Running errands such as picking up prescriptions, groceries, or other necessary items.
Accompanying clients during errands and appointments to provide assistance.
Respite Support for Caregivers:
Supervising clients while the primary caregiver takes a break.
Ensuring safety and comfort during the respite period.
Engaging in light activities to keep the client entertained and occupied.

Our companionship and lifestyle assistance service is non-regulated and strictly focused on providing social interaction and light support. We do not offer personal or medical care. Below are the specific areas that fall outside our scope of services:
Personal Care
Our focus is on companionship, not personal care. Tasks like showering, bathing, grooming, and toilet assistance are not part of our service.
While we offer companionship for individuals with varied abilities, we are not trained to provide care for profound physical or mental disabilities.
Household Support
Heavy lifting, moving furniture, gardening, window cleaning, and deep cleaning are best left to professional services. We provide only light support around the home.
Food-Related
We can prepare simple meals but are not chefs or dietitians. We don’t cater to gourmet meals or medical diets, as we’re not a regulated care service.
Outings & Transportation
Due to insurance policies, companions do not use personal vehicles to transport clients. Any costs related to outings, like meals, parking, or entry fees, are the client’s responsibility.
Health & Medical Care
We are not licensed to administer medications, perform medical treatments, or assist with medical devices. If medical assistance is needed, we ensure timely help by contacting professionals.
Emergency Situations
In an emergency, we promptly contact emergency services and provide basic first aid until help arrives.
Financial and Legal Assistance
We do not handle finances, pay bills, manage accounts, or offer legal advice. Clients should consult a qualified professional for any financial or legal needs.
Mental Health Support
While we offer companionship and social interaction, we are not trained to provide mental health support or counselling. For such needs, clients should consult a licensed mental health professional.
Physical Assistance with Mobility
We are not trained to assist with mobility aids, transfers, or lifting clients. We focus on light support to ensure safety and comfort.
Supervision or Security
We do not provide supervision for individuals requiring constant observation or security. Our focus is strictly on companionship and social engagement.
Child and Pet Care
Our services are tailored for senior companionship, and we do not provide child or pet care.

Our service is a completely independent, non-regulated companion service offering only companionship and light support. We are not affiliated with Healthcare Australia (HCA), NDIS, or any government-funded programs, and at this time, there are no rebates available for our services. We do not provide healthcare, personal care, or any regulated support services.
